Wellness…The Way We See It.
Most people view wellness as a luxury, a sort of pampering that one adds to their life when they have extra time or money. They take a short-term, quick-fix approach to their health care. When they hurt they take a pain-reliever, get a massage or an adjustment and then go on with their life until they’re symptomatic again without ever changing the behavior or resolving the thing that was causing the problem in the first place.
Although they might choose to avoid traditional medical care when possible, most people use alternative approaches in much the same way that they use aspirin. Whether they’re treating the “problem” with chiropractic, herbs and acupuncture, or muscle relaxants and orthopedic surgery, the mindset is the same- “Fix it so I can get on with my life.” We see things differently…
We See Life As A Journey
Which Can Be Travelled In One Of Two Ways:
|
You can curse what appear to be impediments in your path, blame your past and guard yourself against the uncertainty of the future, or you can embrace each day with wonder and gratitude, celebrate the lessons learned from your past and trust in the possibilities that lie ahead.
At the Family Wellness Center we understand your need for relief of symptoms and we’ll do our best to help you get out of pain as quickly as possible. At the same time we know that the narrow scope and limited mindset of practices that focus entirely on symptomatic relief can be costly in the long-term.
Attaining abundant health, feeling vibrant, strong, healthy and powerful is a totally different goal than just feeling pain-free!
Our wellness programs are designed to do much more than just relieve symptoms or prevent future illness. They have been carefully designed to “teach” you, through a combination of Network Spinal Analysis Entrainments and Somato Respiratory Integration exercises, and individualized coaching and support, how to use your body’s physical and energetic resources to create and sustain a “wellness” lifestyle.
Wellness is not just the absence of symptoms.
Wellness Is Knowing “I’m Right Where I Need To Be”…

… and “I’ve got the resources and capabilities I need to make the choices and take the actions that will make my life better from this day forward.” Our programs were created to help you experience this feeling for yourself, everyday!
